Our research mainly addresses algorithms for TDOA based localization systems and for cooperative solutions where TDOAs and distance between particular nodes are available. In positioning systems deployed in harsh environments the number of results and their quality depends on propagation conditions. Therefore our activity in this field addresses statistical approach. The main solutions implemented in our systems are based on Extended Kalman Filter.
The designed algorithms, when used in systems with thoughtfully planned infrastructure and sufficient anchor nodes density allow to reach the accuracy of several centimeters.
